Editorial Policy

Our standards
- Accuracy first. When we describe research, we name the study or researchers and describe what was actually found, including its limits.
- Belief is labelled as belief. Many mindset ideas come from spiritual or cultural traditions. We are happy to write about them, and we say clearly when an idea is a tradition or belief rather than a scientific finding.
- No outcome promises. We do not claim that any practice, product or programme will produce specific financial, health or personal results.
- Health is for professionals. We do not give medical advice. Articles that touch on sleep, supplements or mental health point readers to their doctor or a licensed professional.
How articles are made
- A topic is chosen based on reader questions and what would be useful to cover.
- The writer reviews available sources: published research, reputable health and science organisations and established reference works.
- A second member of the team reviews the draft for accuracy, clarity and compliance with this policy before it is published.
- Each article shows its publication date, and an updated date when we make a meaningful change.
Commercial content
Some pages on this site exist to introduce a product and contain affiliate links. Those pages carry an affiliate notice near the top, are kept out of search indexes, and are not part of our article library. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review, edit or approve our articles. More detail is in our Affiliate Disclosure.
